Perranporth
Perranporth Beach is on the north coast of Cornwall between Newquay and Hayle. It is a huge, sandy beach especially at low tide. It is excellent for family beach days and great for swimming and surfing. It has a seasonal lifeguard. The town of Perranporth is nearby with shops, cafes and pubs. It gets busy in the summer season.

What is this beach like?
The beach is gently sloped with long breaking waves ideal for paddling. The golden sand is excellent for building sand castles. There is a mermaid pool in the cluster of rocks near the river. There are plenty of rock pools and caves to explore. At the east end of the beach is a nudist area.
Amenties and access
There is a car park very close to the beach and a second one nearby, behind the main street. There is more parking available on west cliff. Charges apply in all. There are toilets close to the beach.
At beachside there is a number of eateries, more in the sqaure and along the main street.
Access to the beach is good with concrete, sloped paths and hard compacted sand near the entrance.
It is a dog friendly beach. During July and August, dogs must be kept on a lead between 10am and 5pm on the main beach area.
