Product Details
If you have visited Cornwall, you may have noticed that there are many engine houses standing as testament to the former tin and copper mining industry. This print is available in a stunning, copper paint that shimmers in the light. You can see this effect in the video as the image changes tone as it moves.
This print is from a linocut that I carved by hand. Linocut technique is where a design or form is carved in relief on a block of linoleum. The image is then printed, using an oil based ink (see photo), by hand and this produces small variations in each print. The prints measure approximately 8"x5.5" (inches).
Please note the easel is not part of the listing and is for display purposes only. The prints are on cartridge paper but are not framed or mounted.
