A circular walk escaping the crowds

Cadgwith

A circular walk escaping the crowds

  • 3.5 miles approx circular, with 2.5 mile detour

  • Idyllic village and coastal

  • Pubs, cafes & public toilets

We devised this walk to show the differing fortunes of 3 churches within close proximity to the deligthful village of Cadgwith. It has so many choclate-box cottages with thatched roofs, a peaceful valley setting and a beautiful, tranquil beach. It also has a very unique and unusal church building.

After exploring the cove, we pick up the South West Coast Path and enjoy stunning views of the coast towards the Lizard before heading inland to explore two further churches with very different stories.

Our favourite bit of the walk is...

...the tranquil setting of Cadgwith and stunning views to the Lizard peninsula.
