And the rain, rain, rain,
Came down, down, down
Of that there’s no denying
Hello everyone!

Firstly, let me say that we feel as if we have been battling the dreary, wet and windy weather continually since the beginning of the year, and we would like to thank you for watching.
In January, Storm Goretti tore through the Duchy devastating our landscape and pushing trees over as if they were matchsticks. We were shocked by its ferocity and for the first time, felt unsafe in our substantial, stone cottage.
However, after that, we were incredibly lucky and our filming days fell on dry, sunny days. We were able to make stunning videos at Godrevy and Bossiney. Admittedly a little wet under foot but other than that the light was amazing and the colours looked so good.
Since then we have run out of luck and our filming days have been rainy. Let me share a secret! Our recent St Austell video was filmed over two weeks. On our fist outing, rain stopped play - did you see the join? Perhaps you would like to play spot the difference! Maybe I will share the details in a later post!
Our Plymouth vlog was once more dreary and rainy but we had some wonderfully appreciative comments about how stoic we were to continue and we thank you so much for that - it really buoyed us up! However, this week our filming day has been a complete wash out, just too much for even our stoicism, so no video this week.
In the meantime, let me share our new website design, https://www.cornishwalkingtrails.co.uk/. We hope that you like the new layout and will find some useful content that will help you to plan your holiday
s and days out in Cornwall. It also has plenty of links to videos with some amazing content. Please add the link to your tool bar so that you can refer to our website anytime.
We have everything crossed for some better weather in the next few days and we have a list of interesting and fun videos planned!
Take care everyone!
Sarah and Andrew
