Liskeard

Liskeard is a large town in the east of Cornwall, near Plymouth. Although considered one of the poorer towns in Cornwall, it has a rich heritage and history.  There are many beautiful walks in the area with the close proximity of Bodmin Moor.

The town has a number of pubs and cafes, and there is also an industrial estate with national chains offering fast food.

Beaches

Although Liskeard is not a coastal town, it is only 30 minutes from Looe.

Things to Do

Liskeard has two museums; Stuart House is a heritage museum. The scenic branch line travels to Looe. It is also well connected to the south east of Bodmin Moor, with Minions and the Cheesewring nearby.
