
Mevagissey
Mevagissey is a fishing village with a substantial harbour and fresh fish market. The town has a selection of boutique shops and places to eat. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are within walking distance and it is possible to walk to the village of Pentewan using the South West Coast Path.

Around the harbour, are several cafes and restaurants. There are also many pubs, souvenir and pasty shops.

The town itself has a very small beach. Nearby is Polstreath, a secluded cove on the way to Pentewan via the South West Coast Path. The nearest beach is at Pentewan, and there is a beach at Gorran Haven.
Things to Do
Mevagissey harbour is a great place to catch fish or go crabbing.
Day trips to Fowey are offered from the harbour.

The South West Coast Path passes through the town and offers challenging walks to Pentewan or Gorran Haven.
