So much tragedy at this secluded cove in Cornwall. This walk goes in search of the Manacles, a cluster of rocks where several ships have floundered. Many of the wreck victims are buried in mass graves in St Keverne churchyard and a cannon from HMS Primrose guards the entrance.

Starting in St Keverne Churchyard, we follow country lanes to the coast and explore deserted beaches and abandoned industry in search of the Manacles. This part of Cornwall is incredibly quiet but romantically beautiful.

You will pass Roskilly’s Ice Cream Parlour on the way. A perfect pit stop on a hot day!

Our favourite bit of the walk is...

...discovering the delightful, secluded cove of Godrevy!
